If anything, the front office needs to make some (relatively) easy personnel moves: - Bite the bullet, and sit Burrell. During yesterday's game they should have just had Rowand play center and left. He's jobbing it. They are better off the rest of this season platooning Bourn, Werth, & Dobbs. - Package Barajas up and ship him out, bring back Coste as a backup to Carlos Ruiz. - Take Wes Helms out behind the stadium and put him out of his misery. What happened to that slugger we were supposed to have at third. - Trade Rowand now for an ace, otherwise we'll get nothing for him come free agency.
