I’ve been hiding in a cave

Heeyyaaa. Well it has been some time since i’ve done anything on bpbc, let alone update. Sooo what have I been doing you ask? Take a look. It’s something I am incredibly excited about, although many of you will see no point to it. Ok so what is it?

Basically, you sign up and download the “plugin”. The plugin is a program that runs in the background and it logs what you listen to with the website. Currently, it only runs on winamp and iTunes. So then on the site, it keeps stats of what you and everyone else listens to. You can see stats, leave comments on artists and songs, join groups, and many other things. Sounds alot like facebook or myspace, right? Well it is in some respect, but the focus of audio xml is the music. I want people to be able to find new bands, meet new people, and share their own musical tastes.

A community site that is centered around music is something I haven’t seen done well so far so I figured I would take a stab at it. Sooooo AudioXML was born. It’s still a work in progress…but for the most part it is alive and running. Check it out, leave me some comments and what you think I should add to it.

Another feature that I think will make it popular is that you can have what you are playing in your AIM profile or mySpace page. Sounds useless, but people will dig it.

Right so that’s what I’ve been up to the past week / week and a half. I am still trying to get on a project at work, hopefully in Harrisburg. It sucks seeing everyone packing and heading back for another amazing semester at pitt while I stay at home and go to work. I should have went to graduate school. Hopefully if I am in Harrisburg, I will be able to make the trek to pitt on some weekends for the parties and to see people. We’ll seeeee.

Tomorrow I am driving tim back to penn state. Gonna miss his ass…I guess that gives me reason to hit up state college when I can, right? right.

ahh yes, the starting line. Soo good. I’ve decided that since I have such an impressive and diverse taste for music that I will start a weekly thing called “the hot shit“. I am basically going to list whatever albums I am listening to during the week, thus the name “the hot shit” because, well, the music I listen to is hot. Too many commas in that last sentence. I will also keep some links on the side in case you are bored and want to listen to some new shit.

I really hope I can get staffed on a project in Harrisburg. I know it is probably going to be a boring city but at least I will still be close to home and I will be closer to pitt for the weekends. I’m not ready to let go of the college lifestyle of getting sloppy on friday nights and making out with random girls. Ahhh that was the life. So to all you pitt kids, you aren’t rid of me yet. I will be there for some parties…especially the Halloween party. That is always my favorite. If I can’t get staffed in Harrisburg, then this plan will fail miserably and I’ll have to think of another one.

Something that has been frustrating the shit out of me so i’ll start ranting about it - Traffic on I-95. It is unbelievable. No matter when I leave for work or to come home, there is always a substantial amount of traffic. The city / state needs to come up with some way to avoid this crap. It takes me 1 1/2 hours to get to work when it should only take 45 min. I’m still working on a good way to resolve the problem so when I have something concrete i’ll be sending a letter to someone important. Thank goodness I got a new car with AC because 1. I don’t think my monte could make the daily drive and 2. The lack of AC in the monte would be unbearable with this heat. So yeaaaaaa fuck I-95 and fuck people who do the limit in the left lane. It’s a damn passin lane, you are supposed to speed…excessively. You want to witness me in my element? go for a drive with me down 95 and witness my road rage. Toogar can attest to that. I’m scary.

I’m slipping into the airwaves

Well well well. You may have saw that BPBC was down for a day along with toogar’s site. Well, I am happy to say I am back. They government tried shutting me down for all the illegal activity that goes on here: kiddie porn, illegal music, eDrugs…all of it. Fortunately, I was able to shut down the site and torch the server before they could extract any evidence. After a 10 min chase through penndel they finally arrested me and brought me in for questioning. 1 day later, I am back and blogging in fulll force!

Yea so I wish my life were that exciting. Actually, now that I re-read what I just wrote…it sounds kinda gay, so maybe I don’t wish that. Anyways, I really just forgot to pay my 5 dollar bill and they suspended my account. ::sigh::

Right so I am getting like 10000909304 friends on myspace. Most of whom are 16 year old females, nice. I took this killer pic of myself without my shirt on, through a mirror. I am so scene. As lame as I think myspace is, I can’t seem to stop checking it at least once a day. My biggest beef with that site are those people that decide to “pimp their page” and try to make it look cool. Instead it just gets all fucked up and looks like a pair saggy tits. My verdict: Facebook > MySpace. Go Zuckerberg!

Moving along, I downloaded the new Jack’s Mannequin album last night. It is tight. I think the lead man, Andrew McMahon (sp?), is flippin’ sweet. Even back in his Something Corporate days I was into his style. Anyway, I think he has cancer or something and is battling it. Hopefully, he’ll overcome. Support his cause and BUY A BAND. Then go illegally download his album ; ).

One more thing…I stumbled onto this article about some high schoolers who hacked into their schools computer system and got caught. Boring article, but it made me think about some people from my high school and wonder what the hell they are up to. SO, Justin, Milap, Ed, JJ…if any of you guys still read this shit…hit me up sometime, unless its Milap tryin to get me to do some scam or poker thing…in that case, don’t hit me up.

Anyone catch the phillies game last night? What a bizzare ending with rollins running in that last run. Typical phillies style. Speaking of which, how about forsberg coming over to the flyers. FREAKING HUGE. Im liking the team this year. I might have to get back into hockey, as hard as that may be.

Work Sucks. Money is good. Tomorrow I’ll be at the hulmeville again, getting shitty. It’s become my home away from home, so hit me up if you wanna go.
