Soooooo last night was drunk monkey at the colonial. What a killer time. 20 bucks for all of the good alcohol you can drink, not just bottom shelf stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my Calico Jack stangers and pabst cans, but decent booze is a nice chane
Anywho, lots of people from highschool there. People I could care less about seeing. I have trouble letting things go, so when I see people who were assholes in HS, regardless of how they are now, they are still assholes to me. Needless to say, I didn’t say hi to any of them. Engler 1, Assholes 0…I think. Went to wawa afterwards, got my normal shorti italian with hot peppers and passed the F out. Good times.
Tonight theres a party at my crib and one at malgors. I will be making cameos at both, but laying off the booze. Laying off the booze you say? No F’ing way! Well my friends, it’s simple really. Tomorrow is the highly anticipated pearl jam show at the tweet. We are tailgating at 1:30 down there and it is going to be ridiculous. I am promised it will be the best show I have ever been to (which right now is less than jake at the electric factory a few years ago), so I am brining my game face. If we get pics, ill be sure to put a link up or something.
While I was going through my normal Sunday routine of dicking around on the Internet, I stumbled upon this video on YouTube. I managed to sit through 15 seconds of it before I switched over to facebook, hoping someone updated their profile or added a photo album. Neither happened.
I couldn’t help but thinking “What the hell is that kid thinking when he made that abomination (sp?)”. First off, the movie for little kids (but since I have also seen it, I cannot hold that against him…Go Disney!). Second, it’s a chick song…and where I come from, if it isn’t the “Popsicle Song” by Zolof Rock and Roll Destroyer, you don’t sing along. Third, you sure as hell don’t record it, then post it to a movie sharing website where people are going to bash the hell out of you. Anyway, if you guys can sit through more than 15 seconds of that malarky then I commend you.
I also came across an IGN page that came up with a list of the top 25 X-Men. I have to admit, this list is horrible. I’m not sure who over at IGN put this together, but you shouldn’t have Cyclops at #1 and Beast shouldn’t even be on the list. UGH! I am going to have to do my own list when I get a chance, just without the pictures. I wonder if I still have my x-men card set somewhere….Hrmmm
Well to start off, I managed to hear the new Less Than Jake album “In with the out crowd”. My first reaction was “Meh”. Literally, when I finished listening I simply said “meh”. That being said, the album impresses me lyrically because they started singing about more mature topics. On the flip side, only 1 or 2 songs use horns and none of them have the intensity like their stuff on “Losing Streak” or “Hello Rockview“. I think the biggest appeal these guys have to me right now is the fact that their two lead singers pretty much have interchangable vocals so it sounds like there is only one person singing. It’s wild, I know. That’s all for now, creativity juices are lacking.
grey’s anatomy season finale is tonight, at 9. I just wanted all of you to know that so you can watch and talk about it with me as if we actually know the people on the show and as if they are real. that’s what i usually do.
