Soccer, The Format, and Life Questioning

Well it’s been a while since I posted something on here. I bet you all are craving to know what I’m up to, but first let’s observe a moment of silence for damnitvigile.com. DmV.com was a site before it’s time that the internet was not ready for, which ultimately resulted in it’s own demise. Hopefully, it pulls a JC and rises from the grave, but only time will tell.

OK so now that we have that out of the way, on to the reason you are here…to feel better about yourself by reading my lameness.

Toogar and myself started a pick-up soccer game that airs every Thursday night at 6:30 up at hoover. We figured it would be a few friends, something like 3v3 or 4v4, but the turnout has been nothing short of spectacular. Kind of a weird word, spectacular. Anyway, I’ve been spreading the word and I wouldn’t be suprised to see 25-30 people there next week. Shit, I should start my own league and charge people 30 bucks, order jerseys, give out trophies..the whole she-bang. So if you wanna play be there Thursday nights @6:30. Word.

I’ve been listening to this band called The Format a lot lately. I am really digging their style, mainly because I can’t really classify them. Plus they don’t have your typical sound that all the bands on MTV has (which is why they will never break onto that scene). They help get me through this past work week, which was pretty tough. I’ve been doing a lot of life questioning lately. What I want to do with my career. Do I want to try something else. Questioning a ton of other stuff too. I need to get my shit together and move on. I think I will start next week. That was my deep moment, that is all you get.

That title pretty much sums up the vacation down the shore. It was a brutal time. I don’t think I drank that many consecutive days in my entire life. I’m a joke. Here are some pics:

I think Malgor put some up on facebook and Sly has some up somewhere. I will add later. We also got a video of Aubrey being ridiculous, doing some song thing….wild.

So we (jon steve jay and myself) got down there Tuesday night, got shitfaced, ate pizza, passed out…the usual. Wed we went fishing out on a party boat, where I proceeded to catch the most fish ( 7 skate, 2 flounder ). None were keepers. Got really shitfaced at some bar on wed night, ate pizza, passed out.

Thursday, we were joined by kerv and spent the only sunny day out of the week on the beach. I got burnt bad and it blew. We were joined later that night by meg, malgor, malen, michelle and sharon. I then proceeded to (you guessed it) get shitty, ate pizza, passed out.

Friday was spent on the beach, being a bum. We came back and did the usual…drank ate pizza passed out. We were joined by aubrey, jackie and jessie.

Count it up yall 7 girls 5 guys (kerv left at this point). The condo stunk of estrogen and women problems.

A good time was had by all. That is it. Blow me.
