A few weeks ago a local philly radio station, WMMR, did a “march madness style” tournament for bands. Basically, they matched one band up against another and people voted for their favorite. While it was a pretty solid gig, I didn’t like most of the bands involved so I figured I would do a BpBc version and match up two bands each week and let you vote on your favorite.
My only request is that you leave me some suggestions in the comments so who you think would be some quality matchups. If you leave it totally up to me you will have lots of punk, emo and ska bands facing off and I’m pretty sure most of you won’t enjoy that. So speak up and let me know who you’d like to see on here.

Would You Rather - Favorite Song vs Elevator Music
Have you seen any Starburst commercials over the past few months? Do they blow your mind and haunt your dreams simultaneously?
Every time I see one on TV, I can’t figure out what the hell Starburst is trying to accomplish. I can only picture a board of highly paid corporate executives sitting around a large oak conference table deliberating commercial ideas for their fresh-outta-college intern to scribble on the white board.

Well Well Well. It’s been almost a month since the last “Would You Rather”!!! Can you believe that? You can peep it here: Nickelback vs Creed.
This weeks WYR is another stranded island themed scenario. It goes a little something like this…
If you were stranded on an island, Would You Rather be stranded with:
1. A computer with dialup internet and no instant messaging programs.
2. A TV with basic cable
3. An extremely attractive member of the opposite sex who does not want to (and never will) hook up with you.
I am sure MOST of you can guess my choice. I could do without the TV. There isn’t too much on basic cable that I enjoy anyway. Sure it would be hell missing episodes of The Office, 30 Rock and LOST… but I could survive.
Next we have the hot guy / girl. I deliberated long and hard over this one and came to the conclusion that it would only be torture for me to be around someone sexy who I had no chance with.
That leaves Old Faithful, the computer with Dialup Internet. Let’s be honest, you all knew I would choose the computer. With all that free time I could update BigPlansBigCrash much more than I do now! Sure Dialup would be horrible, but it could be worse…I could have AOL.
