I was able to watch the first 2 episodes of Dexter, season 2. Season 1 ended on such a crazy note that I had no idea what to expect the second time around. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. In fact, it amazes me even more how this show is not the talk of the town/
Dexter has it all. The CSI element (which was all the rage on cable TV, at least last year…), blood and gore, solid plot lines, psycopathic killers, and a killer secret (pun intended) that only the viewer knows about. Throw it all together, add some Michael C Hall quirkiness and you have a banging show.
The second season of Dexter is set to premiere September 30th. Catch up on the first season on Comcast On Demand so you ready for season 2.

It’s About Time, Jim Halpert
This passed Monday, at the taping of the David Letterman Show, Drew Carey announced that he has been selected to replace (err, attempt to replace) Bob Barker as host of the beloved Price is Right.
At first glance, I emphatically approved of this decision. Drew Carey is a fun, lovable gentlemen with kind eyes, who has the on stage presence to handle a game show with ease. (Whose Line is in Anyway?! C’MON!!) Plus, the competition for the job was terrible, which may have boosted Carey’s appeal in my eyes. I mean, Whoopi Goldberg? Magic Johnson? Rosie O’Donnell!? The fact that all of these names were tossed around as a possible replacement for B-Squared just proves that the several people at CBS television don’t fully understand the allure of The Price is Right.

It seems that some gaming company called MumboJumbo games has partnered with NBC to develop a video based on one of my favorite shows, The Office. Apparently, the premise of the game is that the player will go around the office as one of the characters finishing random tasks. They will also take part in playing pranks on their coworkers.
Talk about a BOMB. The only way I would get this game is if there is a naked code and I could make Pam and Jim bump uglies, kinda like that hack in Grand Theft Auto where the dude rails a hooker. I could invite my friends over, play the game on the big screen TV, pound a few Twist Teas and watch digital Jim nail digital Pam. Sounds like a solid guys night…
My vote is a NO GO on the game.

Facelift
Well, Bob Barker is gone. The question is who will replace him? I am reading all over the internet that Rosie O’Donnell might be a lead contender. It’s safe to say that if she gets the job, I will no longer watch the show. She is too much of a personality and that will take away from the show. I envision her trying to make constant jokes and I don’t think that would work.
The host of that show should be an older man who drives women crazy, like Barker. A man who connects with the fans. A man who has been with the show for many years and is quick on his feet. I am talking about the one, the only, Wilford Brimley. You might know him as the “Liberty Medical Diabeetus Guy”, but I know him as the best choice for a Price Is Right host.

A little birdy told me that Dwight Schrute from The Office might get his own show. I usually frown against spin-offs because they typically blow (King Of The Hill, Joey, etc.), but I have a feeling it might work. Dwight’s character has a enough depth that I think his backstory would be enough to carry a series.
