So I was planning on hitting a bar and getting absolutely shithoused this Saturday for my birthday. It seems that Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office) is hosting SNL that night so I might have to stay in and watch it instead of going out.

Sike, I’ll just DVR that shit. You all should do the same.

Good Talk.

He-Man

User SLY submitted this site full of He-Man episodes across the internet. Any die hard He-Man fans would appreciate this site. I love in the intro when Cringer transforms from the shaking pussycat to the badass battle cat thats looking to F stuff up. Kinda like “bc3 alumni” after a few hours of drinking.

Anyway, check out the He-Man Episodes. Nice find Sly.

I love lame jokes and cheesy humor. It’s just who I am. Maybe that’s why I find Lazer Cats to be hilarious. I saw the sequel, Lazer Cats 2, on this past Saturday Night Live, but was only able to find the first one on YouTube. Once LC2 gets on there, i’ll post it too. Check It.

Thoughts? Douglas?

EDIT - It seems YouTube took the video down. Thanks for letting me know punks!

Since I know you all LOVE my lists, I figured i’d do a top 5 of my favorite AYAOTD episodes. Plus this gives me an excuse to go back and watch them on DVD this sick, rainy day. Yeehaw!

Submitted for the approval of the midnight society I call this tale:

The Top 5 Are You Afraid Of The Dark Episodes
(Insert fire and gunpowder type explosion and mystical noise)

  • Tale of the Twisted Claw5. Tale of the Twisted Claw - This EP popped my AYAOTD cherry. I remember watching this sometime around Halloween, which made it even scarier. Every wish they made with the claw would turn out bad. I bet they won’t mess with that witch’s house next mischief night.
  • Tale of Jake and the Leprechaun4. Tale of Jake and the Leprechaun - This one is lesser known it seems. The jist of this one was a kid was casted for this play and tricked into giving his life away. His character recites some words, which turns him into a frog. The other actor (who is really a warlock) then takes tries to take his life, but it thwarted by this leprechaun dude. It rocks.
  • Tale of the Phantom Cab3. Tale of the Phantom Cab - Dr. Vink (with a vuh vuh vuh) debuted in this one. They had to figure out the cab driver’s riddle in order to escape the car crash and the forest. Remember the riddle?: It’s weightless. It can bee seen by the nakd eye. When it’s put in a barrel, it makes it lighter?
  • Tale of Laughing in the Dark2. Tale of Laughing in the Dark - Ok, no clown creeps me out more than Zeebo and his many cigars. This might be the scariest AYAOTD that they made. I don’t care how tough you think you are, no one should F with that clown’s nose.
  • Tale of the Pinball Wizard1. Tale of the Pinball Wizard - My Favorite AYAOTD episode. I often fantasize about breaking into my local mall and recreating the show (sigh). It would be badass to be part of a pinball game in the mall where I couldn’t die, but not at end though, when the ball comes out. That shit looked scary. How bout when the kid pulls out the super soaker mini and zaps the king away. I didn’t see that one coming!

So there you have it. I know there are a ton more AYAOTD episodes worthy of making the TOP 5, but I went with these. If anyone wants to buy the show on DVD, I think you can find it on eBay, although I don’t know if its legal ;)

You ever catch those 2 or 3 stations on cable that have some crazy spanish shows doing some crazy spanish things? Well I always scroll through them going from NBC to ESPN and they always catch my eye. Not because their shows are over dramatic (and that’s an understatement), but because the women are ALWAYS make-me-wanna-pull-out-my-johnson-and-go SEXY.

Spanish Gameshow
This girl may not be DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, but she is still hot IMHO

Scrambled PornI swear I’ve seen more ass shaking, nippling slipping, and cleavage busting action on spanish gameshows than I have watching the Spice channel as a kid. Granted, the screen was usually scrambled to hell, so I was happy when I could see a titty here and there.

But why isn’t american programming like that of our spanish comrades? They would gain a TON of male viewers on shows which are predominantly targeted towards females. Christ, I could sit through an hour of The View (ok maybe not) if they periodically had hot women dancing and jumping around.

Check out this video for instance. It has these two hot spanish dancers shaking their asses before what seems to be some sort of gamshow. GENIOUS!

What do we get? Howie Mandell and his bald headed sexiness….WOOF

I say we start a new channel where every show has sexy (spanish?) women wearing bikinis. It would be a garunteed hit, at least with me. Who’s in?

A few years ago the Sci-Fi channel produced the only good show that station has ever produced, Scare Tactics. Think Candid Camera meets Freddy Krugar. They put people in life threatening situations then tell them they are on “Scare Tactics”. You might think think I have a twisted sense of humor and I would have to agree, but you can’t deny that the guy screaming like a little girl in the video below isn’t hilarious.

There’s no doubt that SNL isn’t what it used to be. The years of Chris Farley and Will Ferrell have passed and the show’s “zest” has faded. I haven’t watched many episodes this season as they rarely appeal to me.

On a leap of faith, I decided to TiVO a few episodes in hopes that the show picked up some new actors and wrote some funny skits. To my suprise, I actually enjoyed the majority of the skits. They have some fresh faces and the skits are generally funnier. Andy Samburg is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. He’s hilarious.

Anyway, where am I going with this bit? Nowhere, really. If you gave up on Saturday Night Live like I did, maybe you should give it another go. You might be suprised with gems like “Dick In A Box”.
