So, I have been a visitor for BigPlansBigCrash now for a while (my winter months at work can be really slow) and have enjoyed checking out their site in my daily quest of internet surfing.  But one of the things I’ve noticed lately is that increased business in whatever pretzel company the owner of bpbc is running is taking away the posts from the website.  So I thought I’d help.  I know, I’m such a nice guy.  So to all of you other web surfers out there, I’m making a list, with detailed descriptions, of some of my favorite sites.  And since there are so many people out there doing the “Top Ten” for everything, I’ll mix it up a bit…I’ll do a top 9 or something, ranked accordingly.
Note:  I have no ties to any of these websites and am just a regular 9-to-5 Joe.  I am ranking these sites based off of my own scale as to how much time one can waste on each site and not get bored.  This includes extra links to jump off to or a collection of different things to look at and waste the day with.  Enjoy.

Mr. P.’s Top 9 Web Sites
#9 - The Phat Phree (www.thephatphree.com)
This website has submissions from writers all over the internet that get posted, rated, and enjoyed.  At the bottom of the main page is the most recent popular articles and popular articles from the past.  It’s well worth spending a couple of hours here, but apparently only if the other 8 websites don’t float your boat.
#8 - College Humor (www.collegehumor.com)
This website is like a clusterfuck of everything.  Articles, video links, pictures, news stories…at times it can actually be too much.  The written articles are alright, some of them are great while some of them are lacking in…humor.  Either way, the links on the right hand side of the website usually encompases everything from newspaper articles to photographs on College Humor (yeah, they link themselves…weird, right?).  A good place to hang out at if you feel like remembering some of those drunken nights at college.
#7 - Points In Case (www.pointsincase.com)
This website, while strictly limited to articles, I feel is much better than College Humor.  The writers on Points In Case are a collection of many different styles and viewpoints that enables any visitor to relate.  Also, with links to the newest articles, blogs, and guest articles on the left side of the home page, navigation is easy and efficient.  Don’t forget to check out the College Quotes…it’s like Overheard in New York but funny!
#6 - What Would Tyler Durden Do? (www.wwtdd.com)
I know, I know.  It’s a celebrity site.  I didn’t even think I was “one of those guys” either.  But I’ll be damned if this writer isn’t funny as shit.  While it may make me feel silly looking at pictures of the latest Lindsey Lohan nipple/drugs party/rehab extravaganza, I’ll be damned if I don’t feel immediately better when I read that he thinks she’s a stupid whore too.
#5 - Big Plans, Big Crash (www.bpbc.com)
This is where you guys come in.  While I felt the need to put it higher, I couldn’t justifiably do it.  I do check this website out every day and appreciate the fact that the first thing I see when the page loads up is a knock out woman…thank you for that.  I enjoy this website’s obsession with The Office and women, along with the randomness of the articles.  This, coupled with the easy access to more links at the bottom of each article, kills a lot of time out of my day.  But not as much as these next 4….
#4 - Inside STL (www.insidestl.com)
This is my biased pick, so it may drop off the top 9 for some people all together.  And that’s okay.  My Cardinals don’t need any more bandwagoners anyway.  So, even though I know live in Chicago, I grew up around the St. Louis area and will always love reading about my team.  This website supplies that coverage, along with links and articles to other aspects as well.  There’s a section that includes articles written by women, a section that rates local girls’ pictures, a music section, and a section that makes fun of all sports, and espn in the process.  All in all, St. Louis fan or not, a good site to waste some time at.
#3 - Nothing To Do With Abroath (http://arbroath.blogspot.com/)
I honestly don’t know what this guy does for a living, but he has new updates constantly throughout the day.  This website is based in Europe, so it’s kind of interesting to see a lot of the articles and tid bits from across the pond.  Also, as I mentioned, the enormous amount of content he supplies on a daily basis is mindboggling.  A very enjoyable and well navigated site, although it does take a while to load up sometimes.
#2 - Craigslist (www.chicago.craigslist.com)
I can’t help myself.  It’s the rants and raves section that gets me everyday.  The healthy combination of nude pics, random posts, and racist remarks keeps me coming back from more.  Constantly…throughout the day.  Also, you can link up to the best-of-craigslist on the left hand site and experience nirvana to the nth degree.  I just got done reading about an office worker that challenged a coworker to a game of battleshits…good stuff.
And the #1 website, in my humble opinion…Gorillamask! (
www.gorillamask.net)
I don’t even remember how I came across Gorillamask in the first place, but thank god I did.  Updated on the hour, Gorillamask has the best links to the best stuff on the net.  Will Ferrel clips, Top 10 lists, compilation clips of tricycle wrecks, gorillamask has it all.  I easily waste the most time at this website, and I am unashamed.  Gorillamask, you truly are the best of the best, much like your protocall for your webpage.  Congratulations.
Honorable Mentions
While I waste the most time at the 9 sites mentioned above, there are also some sites that I visit at least once a day to look for new material that I feel should be mentioned.
- Hotmail/Myspace/Facebook/G-Mail/Yahoo/whatever
These websites are similar to shots.  Quick, effective, but not worth dedicating a lot of time to.  Unless it’s for filling out surveys…that’s a good way to waste some time.  Or, writing an article to post on your #5 website…you know, whatever.
- Girls are Pretty (www.girlsarepretty.com)
Great website, only one new post a day but if you’re bored - check out the archives.  This guy is phenominal at writing little posts that are strange and funny.  Check out “Fill Your Pockets With Glitter And Confetti And Then Step In Front Of A Speeding Bus Day!”  It’s my favorite.
- The Jay (www.thejay.com)
Good film, television, and random updates.  Updates maybe once or twice a week.  Good stuff.
- Group Hug (www.grouphug.us)
People’s submitted confessions.  Addicting, troubling, and yet so hard to stop reading.  The random button allows you to have a page of confessions you’ve never read before - guaranteed!  It makes me feel better about my life in comparison.
- Knuckle Curve (www.knucklecurve.com)
Good website that keeps you updated on the baseball world.  And makes fun of Barry Bonds.  Double-fun!
- Mugglenet (www.mugglenet.com)
Shut up.  I like the editorials.  No, you’re the dork.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this article, and even-more-so, enjoy the websites.  Anything I can do to help the readers of Big Plans Big Crash stay occupied until updates not written by me come.  Enjoy!
Mr. P.

Editors Note: I am estatic to see Mr. P ranking BpBc with some of these omega sites. Thanks for the submission man! Anyone else want to step up and submit some stuff?

When I saw that you wrote too many people do Top 10 lists, I thought for a second that there was a spinal tap moment coming on and that you were going to rank 11 websites. Thanks for the additional sites to waste my work day away.
