Apple + Nike = SWEET!!!!

Runners needs shoes every 500 miles or so and the Nike + variation is the same price as any other competitive shoe. They start at $75 retail and go up from there. Get them on sale and save even more! The sensor/transmitter retails for $29. You can grab any iPod nano 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen, the 1st and 2nd gen nano's are very inexpensive on eBay.....like $30-$40, or the new 3rd gen 4GB model is like $150 retail. Combine this with being able to upload all of your data to Nike Plus's web site, download specialized workouts from guys like Lance Armstrong to give you some motivation when you're trying for that 1 extra mile.

Bottom line is that this combo is Awesome!!! It is getting people out from in front of their PC and TV and running. Major props to Nike and Apple for this new toy! I'm in!

Your prices are off-base. My total cost came in around $260 (Air Pegasus $75 + Nike Plus System $25 + iPod Nano $160). Not shabby, considering an accelerometer costs upwards of $200.

Got to hand it to Nike and Mac for the innovation on this one. Pencil and paper is alright, but shit dude get a clue.

Yeah, I love using the pencil and paper you recommend to scribble the lyrics to my favourite tunes as I speed along on my runs, because I don't have ANY MUSIC TO LISTEN TO.

I have no idea who you are. I have no idea why you're writing a blog. I have no idea how i stumbled across your idiotic comments.

But I do know that you compared "$40 bucks total" for pencil, paper, and pedometer to an iPod. You should look into these things. You see, for a start, they play music...

see ya round, sucka...

PS I'm gonna bookmark your little diary here, just to see what other idiocy you write in the future.

I'm with you Diddy. NIKE has totally pissed on the foundation that Bill Bowerman and Steve Prefontaine built back in the 70s. NIKE used to be my footwear of choice, but in the past year and a half I have changed over to PUMA. Their shoes are lighter, more durable, and have the same grade materials ad NIKE. I'm in on the Challenge, let's stick it to the man.
