Uncle Sam Say's NO PORN FOR YOU! I’ll preface this with a quick apology for those of you who are looking for a funny video or a quick read. I usually don’t write long, more serious stuff but business is slow today. Word.

So the Government passed a law in Philadelphia some time ago which prohibits people from smoking in common public places such as bars. Being a non-smoker, I love this law since I can still pass out on my kitchen floor and wake up the next morning with a solid hangover and cotton mouth, but now my clothes don’t reek of stale cigarettes. That’s the worst part of the next morning, smelling the smoke. Plus, when I pick up women at the bar, which is every weekend, their hair retains that desirable Pert Plus smell. It’s a win win.

Now let’s say I was a “pack-a-day” smoker. I would be real pissed that I cannot enjoy even a single cancer stick with my miller lite. Who the fuck is the government to tell me when and where I can smoke. It’s little moves like this law that makes me worried where we are going to be in 5 or 10 years. What’s next? Are they going to tell me I cannot enjoy a beer or two in my car on my drive down to local bar? Puh-lease. It’s called a pregame. Everyone does it.

No but in all seriousness, the same thing is happening in other sectors, such as the Internet. I won’t get into too much detail as most of my readers’ attention span (and my own) can only handle 3 or 4 paragraphs at a time, but the government is working on a new Net Neutrality law. Basically, Internet access providers (Verizon, Comcast, etc) can charge you different prices for different access speeds. In a nutshell it’s like this: Right now, you just pay for access to the internet and everyone has the same speed (more or less). With the new law, they want to charge you for different connection speeds so if you want to enjoy streaming media such as youTube - or online porn - you’ll have to pay more for higher speeds. It’s something like that, I may not be totally accurate. If anyone knows more on Net Neutrality :cough: Sly :cough:, correct me in the comments.

When does government involvement become “too much” in peoples’ personal lives? It’s bad enough I pay hundreds of dollars a month for internet porn sites that I thought were only “free trials”. Now they want me to pay the service providers more money to get my nut off? Puh-lease.

I understand the justification for the “no smoking” type laws, but some of the stuff Government pulls is complete bullshit. It should be interesting to see where things end up in 5 years. Hopefully you will still be able to enjoy BpBc and it’s greatness at the same low (or not so low) price you pay now.

I have no direction with this entry, just wanted to rant a little. I also have no good way of ending it. I never do.

So we’ll go with this:

One night a policewoman pulls over a drunk driver.
She politely asks him to step out of his car. He willingly does so.
She says, “Anything you say can and will be Held against you.”
He replies “BREASTS.”

BA-ZING!
