I completely disagree with Donny. In America's consumer driven society, disposable income directly influences one's quality of life. And while I know a whole year of your life will be lost, odds are the final year of your life won't be great. You will likely be spending most of it in a hospital bed or with a pain in your side that just won't go away...

Just think of all you could do and experience with the money. To quote a one James Buffet, "I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead."

I can't be bought. I mean what would I spend the money on? Guitar Hero for myself, pitchers of beer for everyone at whatever bar I walked into, and a really good cheesesteak. That's about all that comes to mind.

Besides even if it is just a year off the end of your life so you die at 85 instead of 86, old people can do anything they want and there are almost no consequences (besides dying or breaking a hip). One year of that is worth more than the finest hooker money can buy.
